Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 3/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is bringing a gusty southerly change to southern parts of New South Wales this morning, continuing to the north later in the day. Following this, a high pressure system is forecast to move slowly over southeastern Australia, extending a ridge along the New South Wales coast during Sunday and Monday. This will promote cool nights and fine days in most areas early in the new week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly fog patches about the northern coast and tablelands. The chance of brief morning showers about the southern coast and ranges, and possibly about the northern coastal fringe in the evening. Otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Westerly winds freshening and turning cooler south to southwesterly through the day, becoming strong and gusty along the southern and central coasts.Sunday 5 MayWidespread morning frosts along the ranges, Central and South Western Slopes and the Riverina. Isolated showers along the coastal fringe north of about Forster. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds, fresh about parts of the coast.Monday 6 MayWidespread morning frosts along the ranges, Central and South Western Slopes and in the eastern Riverina. Isolated showers along the coastal fringe north of Sydney. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds inland. South to southeasterly winds on the coast.Tuesday 7 MayMorning frosts along the ranges. Isolated showers along the coast and adjacent ranges north of about Ulladulla, and over the North West Slopes.
