MELBOURNE - May 3/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system south of the Bight will move eastwards during the weekend and be centred over the Tasman sea on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated light showers over the eastern slopes of the Mount Lofty Ranges, and over Lower and Eastern Eyre Peninsula, all clearing by midday. Early morning fog patches over the northern agricultural area, Eyre Peninsula and West Coast district. Cool in the south grading to hot in the far north. Moderate southeast winds, fresh about southern coasts, tending light northeast to northerly in the north.Sunday 5 MayFine apart from early frost patches in the Lower South East. Cool near southern coasts grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 6 MayFine apart from early frost patches in the South East district. A mild day in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate northeast winds.Tuesday 7 MayFine and warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 1 mm.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers developing in the far west on Wednesday, gradually extending to a line Ernabella to Yunta by Friday evening and clearing from the southwest.
