MELBOURNE - May 2/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A southerly change has moved up the NSW coast. In its wake a strengthening high pressure system will move across New South Wales tonight and Friday. Another front with an associated southerly change is expected to move across southern and central New South Wales during Saturday. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated coastal showers along the central and northern coasts. Mostly clear elsewhere. South to southeast winds, fresh and gusty about the north coast.Friday 3 MayMorning fog patches about the coast and tablelands, and early frosts about the southern highlands. The chance of showers over the northern coast, clearing. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Generally light and variable winds, becoming north to northwesterly across the south.Saturday 4 MayMorning fog patches about the coast and tablelands, and early frosts about higher ground. The chance of showers about the south coast and the southern ranges, possibly tending to snow showers about the alpine peaks late in the day. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Freshening westerly winds in the southern tending southerly later. Lighter winds in the north.Sunday 5 MayThe chance of showers about the northern and central coasts. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeast winds, fresh about parts of the coast.Monday 6 MayThe chance of showers about the northern and central coasts. Mostly sunny elsewhere. East to southeast winds inland.
