MELBOURNE - May 2/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1028 hPa over Victoria is moving slowly eastwards. A weak cold front will move over the west and south of the the State during Friday and early Saturday ahead of another high moving eastwards over waters to the south during the weekend. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine. Mild in the south, grading to warm in the north and west. Moderate northeast to northerly winds.Friday 3 MayIsolated showers developing over southern coasts and the South East district in the afternoon and evening, tending scattered over the Lower South East in the evening. Warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west. Moderate northeast winds, tending fresh and gusty north to northwest in the west and south, ahead of a light to moderate southerly change about western and southern coasts.Saturday 4 MayPossible isolated morning showers over the southern agricultural area, then fine. Cool in the south grading to hot in the far north with moderate southeasterly winds, tending northeast to northerly in the north.Sunday 5 MayFine apart from early frost patches in the Lower South East. Cool near southern coasts grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday until midnight Sunday are expected to be less than 2 mm south of about Tarcoola to Yunta.Monday 6 MayPossible isolated showers near southern coasts and developing in the west on Wednesday. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north with light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday afternoon until midnight Monday are expected to be up to 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm over the Lower South East.Tuesday until ThursdayFine and warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds.
