Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 30/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred south of the Bight will move slowly eastward to be centred over Victoria on Thursday and the east coast of NSW on Friday. A weak trough will pass over the southeast corner of the state this morning. Another trough will pass over western and southern parts of the state dover the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayPossible isolated morning showers over the South East districts more likely about the Lower South East coast. Early morning fog patches over the northern agricultural areas and far southern Pastoral districts. Mild in the south, warm to hot in the north with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds turning easterly later in the day.Thursday 2 MayFine apart from possible early morning fog over the South East district. Cool to mild in the south, grading to hot in the north with moderate east to northeasterly winds.Friday 3 MayFine. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the far north. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, fresher in the west during the day.Saturday 4 MayFine with warmer northerly winds at first ahead of cooler southwesterly change in the west during the afternoon and evening. Possible isolated showers developing over western parts following the change, and about the southern coasts late evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be mostly less than 2 mm.Sunday until TuesdayMostly fine in the north. Possible isolated showers extending over agricultural and southern Pastoral districts, easing and clearing late in the period. Generally cool to mild in the south and mild to warm in the north. West to southwesterly winds extending throughout before turning northwesterly in the west later.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Wednesday.Product IDS10033
