Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 26/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1026 hPa over northern South Australia will move eastwards be near the New South Wales coast later on Friday. A cold front will move across the west coast on Saturday evening and the agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts on Sunday. A low pressure system is expected to develop south of the State on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayAreas of morning fog over the agricultural area. Patchy morning drizzle near southern coasts and ranges, and in the Lower South East. A mild to warm day. Mainly light winds, tending moderate to fresh north to northeast in the west and moderate to fresh west to northwest in the southeast.Saturday 27 AprilFine apart from possible isolated late evening showers developing about the Lower South East coast. Warm, grading tending to hot in the west. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, becoming fresh to strong near the coasts, ahead of a moderate to fresh southwest change reaching a line Port Lincoln to Ceduna late evening.Sunday 28 AprilPossible isolated showers south of about Tarcoola to Renmark. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, ahead of a moderate southerly change across the agricultural area and south of the pastorals.Monday 29 AprilScattered showers over southern coasts and ranges. Isolated showers over the remainder of the southern agricultural area. Possible isolated showers over the northern agricultural area and south of the pastorals. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, ahead of a moderate to fresh southwest change extending across the west and south. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts. Less than 2 mm elsewhere.Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the pastorals, contracting to the far west coast and southern agricultural area on Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
