MELBOURNE - Apr 25/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A slow-moving high pressure ridge will remain the dominant synoptic feature across New South Wales until Monday. During Tuesday a weak cold front is expected to move through the state with another ridge developing behind it. Forecast for the rest of FridayPossible isolated showers along the far north coast this morning and the chance of a little drizzle about the western slopes of the far southern ranges, otherwise fine. Mostly sunny apart from some cloud over the southern inland. Isolated early fog and frost patches about the ranges. Generally light winds though moderate to fresh southwest winds in the southeast.Saturday 27 AprilEarly fog and frost patches about the slopes and ranges. Mostly sunny day. Light winds, tending northwest to northeasterly in the afternoon and freshening across the south.Sunday 28 AprilMostly sunny throughout. Early frosts slopes and ranges. North to northwesterly winds, and a later southerly change in the south.Monday 29 AprilThe chance of showers on the south coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
