Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 24/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge will strengthen over New South Wales today while a weak low pressure trough lingers on the South Coast. The ridge is expected to be the dominant synoptic feature over southeastern Australia through the coming week, maintaining mostly fine conditions over the state.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayEarly fog and frost patches about the southern and central coast and tablelands. Isolated showers about parts of the southern coast and the northern coastal fringe, mostly in the evening. Fine and mostly sunny otherwise. Generally light southeast to southwesterly winds.Thursday 25 AprilEarly frost patches about the tablelands. Isolated showers along the northern half of the coast and adjacent tablelands, most likely along the coastal fringe. Generally light and variable winds.Friday 26 AprilEarly frost patches about the tablelands. Isolated showers along the far north coast. Westerly winds, freshening over the central and southern tablelands during the day.Saturday 27 AprilThe chance of showers on the far north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Light winds, freshening from the west to northwest in the south and southeast late in the day.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Wednesday.Product IDN10031
