Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 16/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough lies over northeastern New South Wales and a high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge across the west and southeast of the state. The trough will move will the far northeast of the state during Thursday and weaken as the high moves near Tasmania strengthening the ridge to the north coast. The next trough is expected to move through the state during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms in the east, with showers more frequent about the central and northern coasts and ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northerly winds in the far northeast, and south to southwesterly winds elsewhere.Wednesday 17 AprilIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent range, tending scattered in the north. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Thursday 18 AprilIsolated coastal showers, tending scattered near the southeast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Friday 19 AprilIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent range. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds.Saturday 20 AprilIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent range. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere.
