Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 10/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move across southern areas of Victoria this morning. A high pressure system will move over Tasmania tonight, reaching the Tasman Sea on Friday. The next cold front will approach western Victoria later on Saturday and move across the State early Sunday. A high pressure ridge will then extend across Tasmania late on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMorning fog patches in Gippsland. Isolated showers in the south extending to remaining southern and mountain districts by the afternoon. Fine over the north. Mild in the south, warm in the north, with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Fire Danger -  Low to moderate.Friday 12 AprilIsolated showers in southern and mountain areas clearing from the west during the morning. Fine in the north. A mild to warm day with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 13 AprilFine apart from isolated showers in the west. A mild to warm day with a moderate northerly wind.Sunday 14 AprilScattered showers developing in the south, isolated in the north. Generally mild with moderate west to southwesterly winds extending throughout.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDV10310
