Weather Situation A ridge of high pressure lies across Victoria. A cold front will approach southwestern Victoria late today and will move across southern areas of the State on Thursday morning. The next high pressure system will move over Tasmania late on Thursday and settle in the Tasman Sea on Friday. The next cold front will approach western Victoria later on Saturday and move across the State early on Sunday. A high pressure ridge will extend across Tasmania late on Sunday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayAreas of smoke haze, otherwise clear.Light winds and easing coastal seabreezes.Thursday 11 AprilMorning fog patches. Patchy light rain extending across southern and mountain districts. Fine over the north. Mild in the south, warm in the north, with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Fire Danger - Low to moderate.Friday 12 AprilIsolated showers in southern and mountain areas clearing from the west in the morning. Fine in the north. A mild to warm day with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 13 AprilFine apart from isolated showers in the west. A mild to warm day with a moderate northerly wind.Sunday 14 AprilScattered showers extending from the west.
