Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 9/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure lies across Victoria. A cold front over the Southern Ocean will approach southwestern Victoria late today and will move across southern areas of the State on Thursday. The next high pressure system will move over Tasmania on Friday while another cold front will approach western Victoria later on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayWidespread morning fog mostly south of the divide, clearing to a mostly sunny day although areas of smoke haze. Mild to warm with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Generally High.Thursday 11 AprilMorning fog patches. Patchy light rain extending across southern and mountain districts. Fine over the north. Mild in the south, warm in the north, with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Friday 12 AprilIsolated showers in southern and mountain areas clearing during the afternoon. Fine to the north. A mild to warm day with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 13 AprilFine apart from isolated showers in the far west.
