Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 8/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over Tasmania is moving eastwards and will be positioned over the southern Tasman Sea this afternoon. A weak front will move over the Lower South East on Thursday, followed by another high developing to the south of the Bight, which will weaken on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine apart from early morning fog patches over the southern agricultural area. Warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Wednesday 10 AprilFine apart from early fog patches over the southern agricultural area and Eyre Peninsula. Warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Thursday 11 AprilFine apart from isolated showers developing in the Lower South East district and along the south coast of Kangaroo Island. Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west, with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Friday 12 AprilIsolated showers about the southern coasts and the South East district, chiefly morning. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeasterly winds, turning northeasterly in the west. Light to moderate coastal afternoon sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning to midnight Friday are expected to be less than 1 mm.Saturday until MondayIsolated showers south of about Kingscote to Lameroo, ahead of a cooler change during Sunday with isolated showers extending to areas south of about Leigh Creek. Showers contracting to north of about Woomera on Monday, but persisting near southern and western coasts. Mostly warm to hot on Saturday, ahead of a cooler change extending from the south on Sunday, with generally cool to mild conditions expected throughout on Monday. Winds turning northeast to northwesterly on Saturday and Sunday, ahead of a fresh southerly wind change extending northwards on Sunday, extending throughout by early Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
