Weather Situation A high pressure system to the south of Tasmania will move eastwards to reach the southern Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A cold front will approach western Victoria late on Wednesday, before moving across southern areas of the State on Thursday. Meanwhile the next high pressure system will approach Tasmania on Friday. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers and thunderstorms over the north and east. Fine elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to southerly winds.Tuesday 9 AprilMorning fog patches in the south. Isolated morning showers possible in the south. Isolated showers and thunderstorms near the eastern ranges during the afternoon and evening. Mild to warm with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger - Moderate to High.Wednesday 10 AprilFine after early fog patches in the south. A mild to warm day with light southwest to northwesterly winds.Thursday 11 AprilPatchy rain extending across southern and mountain districts. Mild in the south, warm in the north, with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Friday 12 AprilPatchy rain in southern and mountain areas tending to isolated showers during the afternoon and evening. Fine to the north.
