Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 7/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system to the south of the Bight is moving eastwards and will be positioned over the southern Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A weak front will move over the Lower South East on Thursday, followed by another high developing to the south of the Bight.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers and thunder about the Riverland, Murraylands, Flinders and the southeast of the North East Pastoral district during the afternoon. Warm to hot. Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds and coastal sea breezes.Monday 8 AprilEarly fog patches over the southern agricultural area. Possible light morning showers or drizzle about far southern coasts. The chance of isolated afternoon showers over the northern agricultural area and south of the North East Pastoral, all to the east of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west, with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, tending moderate to fresh near the coasts.Tuesday 9 AprilFine apart from early fog patches in the South East district. Warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Wednesday 10 AprilFine. Warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Thursday 11 AprilFine apart from isolated showers developing about the southern coasts and the Lower South East district. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon to midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 1 mm.Friday until SundayIsolated showers about the southern coasts and the Lower South East district, chiefly morning, extending over the Upper South East and Murraylands districts on Saturday, before clearing throughout by Sunday. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate winds, chiefly southeast to northeasterly.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
