MELBOURNE - Apr 6/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system is moving east across the southern Tasman Sea and a ridge over northeastern New South Wales is weakening. During Sunday a weak low pressure trough will move through the west and southeast of the state with ridge redeveloping behind the front on Monday. Another weak trough is expected to move through on Wednesday and Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges tending scattered on the coastal fringe. The chance of thunderstorms near the southern half of the coast and the chance of showers and thunderstorms in the far northwest. Partly cloudy elsewhere Southeast to northeasterly winds.Sunday 7 AprilIsolated showers in the eastern half, tending scattered along the north coast with the chance of thunderstorms. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 8 AprilIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges tending scattered near the north coast. Partly cloudy west of Divide. Light winds tending southeast.Tuesday 9 AprilIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges tending scattered near the north coast but clearing in the south. Partly cloudy west of Divide.
