MELBOURNE - Apr 6/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A ridge of high pressure will persist over South Australia for the week ahead. Several highs will gradually move over the State separated by weak wind changes. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine, apart from isolated showers and thunderstorms clearing from the the North East Pastoral and Flinders districts later this evening. Mild with light to moderate east to northeasterly winds.Sunday 7 AprilFine and warm to hot. Light to moderate northeasterly winds and coastal sea breezes.Monday 8 AprilFine apart from possible light morning showers or drizzle about far southern coasts. Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot in the north and west.Tuesday 9 AprilFine. Mild to warm in the south, warm to hot in the north with with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal afternoon sea breezes.Wednesday 10 April Fine. Mild to warm. Mainly light southeast to northeasterly winds and coastal sea breezes. Less than 1 mm is expected in the North East Pastoral district east of Leigh Creek to Marree this afternoon and evening, and about the far southern coasts on Monday, otherwise no rainfall is expected from Saturday afternoon through to midnight Wednesday. Thursday until SaturdayFine apart from isolated showers developing about the southern coasts on Thursday then clearing early Friday morning. Possible showers re-developing about coastal parts next weekend. Mild to warm in the south grading to warm to hot in the north.
