MELBOURNE - Apr 2/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front is crossing the southern Tasman Sea and a high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge to northeastern New South Wales. Over the next few days, the high will move slowly east strengthening the ridge over the state. The next cold front is expected to move through the state during Sunday Monday as the high moves towards Nw Zealand and the ridge weakens. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered about the central and northern coasts. The chance of afternoon thunderstorms in the northeast. Mostly sunny remainder. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Thursday 4 AprilIsolated showers in the east, tending scattered along the central and northern coast and frequent along the northern coastal fringe. Partly cloudy remainder. East to southeasterly winds.Friday 5 AprilIsolated showers in the east, tending scattered along the central and northern coast. Partly cloudy remainder.
