Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 1/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough off the New South Wales north coast is weakening, while a high pressure system near the Bight extends a ridge into the state's west. Another weak trough will move over southeastern parts on Tuesday as a cold front passes to the south. Following this, the high is expected to drift slowly eastwards during the coming days, promoting fine conditions inland and restricting precipitation to a few showers near the coast through most of the week.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers northern coast and adjacent ranges, developing in the south late. Fine west of the ranges. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Tuesday 2 AprilThe chance of showers about the coast and adjacent ranges, more likely on the far southern ranges and along the north coast. Fine and sunny inland. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Wednesday 3 AprilIsolated showers in the east, tending scattered along the central and northern coast. Fine remainder. Southeast to southwesterly winds.Thursday 4 AprilIsolated showers in the east, tending scattered along the central and northern coast. Fine remainder. East to southeasterly winds.Friday 5 AprilIsolated showers in the east, tending scattered along the central and northern coast. Fine remainder.
