Weather Situation A weak high pressure ridge will lie over northern Victoria during tonight and Monday. A cold front will rapidly cross southern Victoria on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday and Thursday a large and strengthening high pressure system will be centred near Tasmania. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers in southern and mountain areas contracting to the far east and the southwest coast later tonight. Light to moderate west to southwest winds.Monday 1 AprilFine over most areas, but isolated showers near the southwest and central coasts extending inland over the southwest late in the day. A cool to mild day with light to moderate westerly winds near the coast, tending light southwesterly inland.Fire Danger - Low to Moderate.Tuesday 2 AprilScattered showers over southern and mountain districts and isolated showers just penetrating north of the divide. Generally cool with moderate to fresh southwest to southerly winds.Wednesday 3 AprilIsolated showers in southern and mountain areas contracting to East Gippsland during the afternoon. Fine over the north. A cool day with a moderating southerly wind.Thursday 4 AprilFine after isolated showers in East Gippsland clear during the morning.
