MELBOURNE - Mar 29/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front is moving across northwestern New South Wales and weakening. Another cold front will move rapidly through the state later on Saturday and early Sunday and a high pressure system will move south of the Bight extending a ridge behind the front. The high is expected to move very slowly east over the next few days strengthening the ridge across the state. Forecast for the rest of FridayRain areas in the northeast with possible thunderstorms contracting further northeast during the day. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds.Saturday 30 MarchThe chance of showers in the north. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to southwesterly winds, becoming light and variable inland.Sunday 31 MarchPartly cloduy in the far southern inland. isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered in the far northeast. South to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Monday 1 AprilIsolated showers coast and ranges tending scattered in the north. Partly cloudy elsewhere..
