Forecast for Sunday An upper level trough should spread a cloud band with areas of rain, scattered showers and isolated storms across the southern districts, extending eastwards during the day. Moderate falls are likely about the Darling Downs and Granite Belt districts. A weak onshore wind flow should produce mainly isolated showers about the eastern tropics, and isolated showers and storms are possible about the Gulf of Carpentaria coast. Fine and mostly sunny over the northern tropical interior. Cool in the cloudy conditions across the south of the state. Forecast for Monday The upper trough should push northwards across the state during the day, resulting in the areas of rain, scattered showers and isolated storms moving into the Central Highlands and Coalfields, Capricornia and Wide Bay and Burnett districts. Fine and mostly sunny across the remainder of the state except for the chance of some isolated showers and storms about the Gulf of Carpentaria coast and isolated showers about the tropical east coast.
