In the south, long grain rice price quotes were steady to instances 1.00 higher, quoted mostly at 28.00; medium grain prices were steady; parboiled quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 30.50; second heads were steady; brewers were steady to instances 1.50 lower, quoted mostly at 14.50-16.00. Rice by- products: Offers for rice bran were mostly steady to 30.00 lower; millfeed was untested; hulls were 5.00 lower. Louisiana rough rice was not available.
