Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 10/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred south of Tasmania will move southeastwards to be centred over the southern Tasman Sea by Monday night. A trough of low pressure will move over the far west coast on Tuesday morning and then move eastwards to move over Adelaide early Wednesday morning then over the far northeast by Wednesday evening.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers about parts of the Northwest Pastoral, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Mt Lofty Ranges, Murraylands and the Lower South East districts until early evening. Warm to hot and humid with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon sea breezes.Monday 11 MarchFine part from isolated early morning fog about southern coastal districts. Hot to very hot with moderate northeast to northerly winds, fresh in the far west.Tuesday 12 MarchDry apart from isolated light showers near western coasts developing during the afternoon and evening. Possible raised dust in the west. Hot to very hot with freshening northerly winds ahead of a fresh and gusty southerly wind change in west.Wednesday 13 MarchFine apart from isolated light morning showers in the west and south. Hot in the far northeast but milder elsewhere as moderate to fresh southerly winds extend throughout.Thursday 14 MarchFine apart from isolated light morning showers near southern coasts. Mild about southern coasts grading to hot in the far northeast. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coast. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm, possibly reaching 5 mm near western coasts.Friday until SundayFine apart from isolated light morning showers near the coast most mornings. Mild to warm in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh southeast to southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
