Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 7/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over NSW and directs a moist east to northeasterly airflow over the state. The high is expected to move slowly east over the next few days with the ridge gradually extending over the northeast of the state.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered in the far north. Possible isolated showers in the far west. Fine elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Friday 8 MarchAreas of morning fog on the ranges and adjacent coastal districts. Isolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered in the far north Possible showers about the central coast. Northeast to southeast winds.Saturday 9 MarchAreas of morning fog on the ranges and adjacent southern coastal districts. Isolated showers along the north coast. Possible isolated showers about the central coast in the morning and far southern ranges in the afternoon. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 10 MarchIsolated showers along the north coast and far southern ranges. Possible thunderstorms on the far southern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Monday 11 MarchIsolated showers along the north coast. Possible isolated showers about the central coast in the morning and far southern ranges in the afternoon.
