MELBOURNE - Mar 6/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over NSW and directs a moist easterly airflow over the north of the state. The high is expected to move slowly east over the next few days with the ridge gradually extending over the northeast of the state. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers over the north coast and adjacent ranges, and about the central coast. Possible showers and thunderstorms in the far west. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Thursday 7 MarchIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. Possible isolated showers in the far west. Fine elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Friday 8 MarchIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges and possibly about the central coast. Northeast to southeast winds.Saturday 9 MarchIsolated showers along the north coast and possibly about the central coast and far southern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 10 MarchIsolated showers along the north coast and far southern ranges, and possibly about the central coast. Possible thunderstorms on the far southern ranges.
