Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 5/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A large high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea is slow moving. A weak cold front will move south of Tasmania on Wednesday night. Another high pressure system will move over the Bight late on Thursday before moving to the south of Tasmania on Friday and merging with the Tasman Sea high on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine. Light to moderate northeast to northerly wind and coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 6 MarchFine apart from early fog patches in Gippsland and the chance of isolated showers over the far northwest. A warm to very warm and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Generally high.Thursday 7 MarchFine apart from the chance of isolated showers over the far west. A warm to very warm and mainly sunny day with a light wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Friday 8 MarchFine apart from isolated afternoon showers near the ranges. A warm to very warm and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate east to northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 9 MarchIsolated showers and thunderstorms in the southwest and isolated afternoon showers near the ranges. Fine elsewhere. A warm to very warm day with a light northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Wednesday.Product IDV10310
