Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 2/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A large high pressure system just south of Tasmania will drift slowly eastwards to reach the Tasman Sea today. The high will remain just to the east of Bass Strait and Tasmania into early next week, moving to the central Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A weakening front will move south of Tasmania Wednesday night.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from the chance of early showers over East Gippsland. A warm and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate east to northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Generally high to very high.Monday 4 MarchFine. A warm to very warm and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 5 MarchFine. A warm to very warm and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate northeasterly wind and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 6 MarchFine.
