Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 1/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1030 hPa west of Tasmania will move slowly eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Monday. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Rusty 996 hPa located over central Western Australia is moving southwards and weakening.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPatchy rain over areas west of about Ernabella to Fowlers Bay. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh southeast to easterly winds, turning northeasterly in the west of the State.Saturday 2 MarchFine apart from patchy rain near the western border. Warm to hot with moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times and local afternoon coastal sea breezes.Sunday 3 MarchFine apart from patchy rain in the far west. Warm to hot with moderate east to northeast winds, fresh at times and local afternoon coastal sea breezes..Monday 4 MarchPatchy rain in the far west. Isolated showers developing in the far northeast interior. Hot with moderate east to northeast winds and local afternoon coastal sea breezes..Tuesday 5 MarchFine apart from possible isolated showers over the far west and Northeast Pastoral. Hot with light to moderate east to northeast winds and local afternoon coastal sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm northeast of Moomba and 2 to 10 mm in the far west.Wednesday until FridayPossible isolated showers over the Pastoral and Flinders districts, contracting to the far west and the northeast interior on Thursday and Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
