Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 28/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Adelaide will move slowly eastwards to be centred near Tasmania during the weekend and over the Tasman Sea early next week. Tropical Cyclone Rusty lies over Western Australia and is expected to weaken as it moves southwards over the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPatchy rain over areas west of about Ernabella to Fowlers Bay. Mild to warm with mainly moderate southeast to easterly winds, turning northeasterly in the west of the State.Saturday 2 MarchFine apart from isolated showers near the western border. Generally warm to hot with moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Sunday 3 MarchFine apart from isolated showers near the western border. Warm to hot with moderate east to northeasterly winds.Monday 4 MarchFine apart from possible isolated showers near the western border, and over the North East Pastoral east of Leigh Creek. Generally hot with moderate east to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday afternoon until midnight Monday are expected to be less than 1 mm over Pastoral districts and over the West Coast district west of Fowlers Bay, increasing to 2 to 10 mm near the western border.Tuesday until ThursdayFine apart from possible isolated showers over the Pastoral and Flinders districts and in the far west. Hot with mainly moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Friday.Product IDS10033
