Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 22/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough will move across the west of the State on Saturday and reach a line Renmark to Coober Pedy late Sunday evening. A weak high will move to the south of the Bight early next week, and a stronger high is expected to develop to the southwest of the Bight around mid week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayHot and mostly sunny. Possible isolated showers developing near western coasts in the evening. Isolated early morning showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds shifting moderate to fresh southerly in the west in the afternoon or evening.Sunday 24 FebruaryPossible isolated showers extending over the agricultural area, North West Pastoral and West Coast district. Hot to very hot with light to moderate northerly winds, ahead of a milder fresh and gusty southerly change in the west extending eastwards to reach a line Renmark to Coober Pedy late evening.Monday 25 FebruaryFine northeast of a line Broken Hill to Ernabella. Possible isolated showers elsewhere. Generally warm to hot with moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh at times.Tuesday 26 FebruaryPossible isolated showers except in the northeast interior, extending northeast and clearing from the south. A milder south to southeast change extending throughout the west and south. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be generally 1 to 2 mm.Wednesday until FridayPossible isolated showers, contracting to the north and west by Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
