Weather Situation A strong high pressure system south of Adelaide extends a ridge into the Tasman Sea and along the New South Wales coast. A low pressure trough extends through western Queensland and New South Wales, and will remain a feature of the region as the high moves gradually east during the next few days. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayThe chance of showers about the coast north from Nowra, tending scattered on the northern coast. Showers and thunderstorms in the far west, mainly afternoon, and about the southern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Friday 15 FebruaryIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered on the northern coast. Possible thunderstorms over the far southern ranges. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the far west, with the chance of showers across the southern inland. Fine over most of the central inland.
