Weather Situation A slow moving high pressure system is centred west of Tasmania and extends a ridge to the Tasman Sea. The high will drift eastwards over the next few days and will be centred over the Tasman Sea on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine apart from isolated showers and thunderstorms over the eastern ranges and over the northwest during the afternoon and evening. Areas of smoke haze in the east. Light to moderate easterly winds with fresh afternoon seabreezes.Thursday 14 FebruaryMorning fog patches in the south. Isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon, mainly on the ranges and over the northwest. Areas of smoke haze in the east.
