Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 4/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is moving over the southwestern Tasman Sea strengthening a ridge to New South Wales north coast. A low pressure trough/front system is expected to move across the state during Saturday and Sunday as the high moves slowly towards New Zealand and the ridge over the northeast weakens.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers along the north and central coasts and adjacent ranges. Mostly clear elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 5 FebruaryIsolated showers about the coast and ranges, more widespread in the north. The chance of thunderstorms during the afternoon on the Alps. Morning fog patches in the east. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Northeast to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 6 FebruaryIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges tending scattered in the far north. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Northeast to southeasterly winds.Thursday 7 FebruaryIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Northeast to northwest winds.Friday 8 FebruaryIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges and the chance of showers in the far southeastern inland. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
