MELBOURNE - Feb 2/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards to be centred over the southern Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A trough will move across southern and western parts of the State on Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated light showers about southern coasts, possibly extending to areas south of about Cleve to Adelaide to Naracoorte during the morning before clearing during the afternoon. Possible isolated early morning fog patches in the Lower South East district. Mild in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate south to southeast winds and fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Monday 4 FebruaryPossible isolated morning showers about far southern coasts. Mild to warm in the south, hot inland and in the north. Light to moderate east to southeast winds and fresh afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 5 FebruaryFine. Warm to hot with light to moderate northerly winds shifting southerly in the far west during the evening. Moderate afternoon sea breezes.Wednesday 6 FebruaryIsolated morning drizzle about the far western coast. Possible isolated showers developing about the far southern coast late in the day. Warm to hot with moderate northerly winds ahead of a milder southerly wind change extending over western and southern parts of the State during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning to midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers clearing from the Lower South East coast on Thursday, then isolated showers possibly re-developing over coastal parts of South Australia on Friday and Saturday.
