Weather Situation A large near-stationary high southwest of Perth will maintain a ridge over the south of the state with a series of weak fronts passing over southern waters during the long weekend. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPossible isolated light showers about southern coasts. Cool in the south, grading to hot to very hot in the far northeast, with moderate to fresh southerly winds.Sunday 27 JanuaryPossible isolated light showers about southern and western coasts, and parts of the Gulf Waters coasts early morning, clearing by evening. Cool to mild in the south, grading to hot in the north with moderate southerly winds, fresh at times.Monday 28 JanuaryIsolated showers south of about Adelaide with possible showers over the remainder of the southern agricultural area and West Coast district, clearing in the evening. Mild to warm, grading to hot in the far northeast with moderate to fresh southerly winds.Tuesday 29 JanuaryFine apart from possible isolated showers about southern and western coasts. Mild to warm, grading to hot in the far northeast with mainly moderate southerly winds.
