Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 11/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front moving across Victoria will reach the east and north tonight. A high pressure system is expected to move from Bight waters towards Victoria during the weekend. The high will extend a ridge across southern Victoria on Monday with a high centre forming in the Tasman Sea by Monday night. A weak cold front will cross Tasmania on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayA cooler, fresh and gusty southwesterly change extending to the east at night. Mainly dry.Saturday 12 JanuaryPartly cloudy with isolated showers in the south, mostly in the morning. Cool to mild in the south, warm in the north with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds, freshening about the coast with seabreezes.Fire Danger -  High to very high.Sunday 13 JanuaryMostly cloudy with isolated showers. Cool to mild in the south, warmer in the north with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds.Monday 14 JanuaryIsolated showers in the east, clearing. A cool to mild and partly cloudy day in the south but warmer in the north. Light to moderate southerly winds.Tuesday 15 JanuaryFine and mainly sunny.
