Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 5/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system southeast of the Bight will move eastwards, reaching the Tasman Sea on Monday. Another high will develop to the south of the State late Tuesday. A trough of low pressure will remain over northeastern parts of the State through to mid week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayDry apart from the chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms northeast of Oodnadatta to Broken Hill after midday. Warm about southern coasts, hot to very hot elsewhere. Mainly moderate southeast to easterly winds.Monday 7 JanuaryDry and hot to very hot. Moderate southeast to easterly winds and local afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 8 JanuaryDry. Warm about southern coasts, hot to very hot elsewhere. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 9 JanuaryDry. Warm about southern coasts, hot to very hot elsewhere. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be negligible.Thursday until SaturdayContinuing dry. Hot to very hot with southeasterly winds turning northerly ahead of a milder southerly change moving across the State late Thursday and Friday, and reaching the far northeast Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
