Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 2/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near New Zealand extends a ridge to the northern New South Wales coast. During Monday the trough is forecast to stall and weaken, although a cold front approaching from the southwest will sweep across the region during Tuesday, bringing cooler and drier air. Fine weather will then be maintained over most districts through the second half of the week under the influence of a high pressure system drifting across from the west.
