Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 29/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is directing hot and humid northerly winds into a weak low pressure trough over western New South Wales. This trough and an associated cooler southerly change is expected to move slowly across the state over the weekend, reaching the northeast late on Sunday. Hot conditions are expected to continue ahead of the trough.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers and thunderstorms across the southern inland, and about the ranges and coast later. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Hot to very hot inland, humid along the coast. Northeast to northwesterly winds.Fire Danger -  Severe Northern Riverina. Very high: Remainder Riverina, Far Western, North Western, Central West.Saturday 1 DecemberPartly cloudy in the northeast. Isolated showers with the chance of thunderstorms elsewhere. Hot to very hot in the north. North to northwest winds turning milder southerly in the south and west.Sunday 2 DecemberPartly cloudy in the southwest. Isolated showers with the chance of thunderstorms elsewhere. Milder southwest to southeasterly winds extending to the far northeast.Monday 3 DecemberShowers and thunderstorms about the northeast, possible isolated showers along the southern coast.
