Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 21/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over Kangaroo Island will move east to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Friday. A trough of low pressure will moved across South Australia during the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine apart from possible isolated thundery showers in the far west. Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot in the north. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Moderate to fresh coastal sea breezes.Friday 23 NovemberFine apart from possible isolated thundery showers in the far west. Warm to hot, grading to very hot in the far north. Light to moderate easterly winds, tending northerly in the west ahead of a southerly change in the far west.Saturday 24 NovemberFine apart from possible isolated thundery showers in the far west and possible isolated showers over the remainder of the west. Hot in the south, very hot in the north. with moderate northerly winds ahead of a milder fresh southerly change across the south.Sunday 25 NovemberFine apart from possible isolated thundery showers in the west. Hot in the south, very hot in the north with moderate southeast to northeast winds, turning moderate to fresh northerly in the west ahead of a milder fresh southerly change in the west and about southern coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be up to 2 mm, with local falls to 5 mm in thunderstorms.Monday until WednesdayPossible isolated showers in the west and south, extending northeastwards and clearing to be fine throughout on Wednesday. A milder southerly change extending through the west and south, then becoming hot again later in the period as winds tend southeast to northeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
