MELBOURNE - Nov 18/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low pressure trough over northeastern New South Wales is moving east, deepening and extending over the far western Tasman Sea. The trough will weaken during Monday as a high pressure system east of Tasmania strengthen a ridge to the north coast. The next trough/front system is expected to move through the state during Wednesday and Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SundayScattered showers and thunderstorms in the northeast contracting east. Isolated showers and thunderstorms on the south and central coasts and adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeasterly winds tending east to northeasterly near the north and central coasts.Monday 19 NovemberIsolated showers about the coast and ranges with the chance of thunderstorms near the north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to southeast winds.Tuesday 20 NovemberIsolated showers along the central parts of the coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to southeast winds.Wednesday 21 NovemberIsolated late showers on the far south coast and adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Light winds in the northeast.
