Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 12/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure will remain slow moving over the northeast corner of the State for the next few days. A high 1025 hPa centred southwest of Kangaroo Island is moving east and will reach the Tasman sea on Wednesday. Another trough of low pressure will move across the State on Thursday, followed by a new high which will be centred south of the Bight later Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers and thunder over the Pastoral and Flinders districts, south and west of about Coober Pedy to Marree. Mild to warm, grading to hot in the far northeast. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds and fresh coastal sea breezes, tending northeasterly over the far northeast.Wednesday 14 NovemberFine apart from the chance of isolated evening showers and thunder in the far west. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot to very hot in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending northeast to northwesterly over the far north.Thursday 15 NovemberPatchy rain in the south, extending to the north and clearing from the south. Mild in the south grading to very hot in the far north. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds in the far north, ahead of a fresh and gusty southerly change extending to the far northeast. Areas of raised dust inland near the change.Friday 16 NovemberIsolated light morning showers about southern coasts. Possible isolated morning showers over the far northeast. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Moderate south to southeast winds, fresh at times. Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning until midnight Friday are expected to be up to 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm over the northern agricultural area.Saturday until MondayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers developing Monday afternoon in the far west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Tuesday.Product IDS10033
