MELBOURNE - Nov 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front will move across Victoria today reaching the Tasman Sea by the evening. Another high pressure system will move just south of Victoria on Tuesday, to be located over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. The next high pressure system will move into the Bight on Thursday as a cold front crosses Tasmania. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms over the west this morning before contracting to the east during the afternoon although generally fine over the northern plains. . Warm with fresh northwesterly winds, strong at times in the south, ahead of a cooler, gusty southwest change in the southwest during the morning and extending throughout during the day.Fire Danger - High to Very High.Tuesday 13 NovemberFine after isolated showers clear from East Gippsland. A warm and mostly sunny day in the north, milder and partly cloudy in the south. Light to moderate southerly wind.Wednesday 14 NovemberFine apart from isolated afternoon showers about far East Gippsland. A mostly sunny day. Warm to hot inland with light north to northwesterly winds. Milder near the coast with afternoon seabreezes.Thursday 15 NovemberCloudy with isolated showers developing throughout.
