Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred off the south coast extends a ridge across the state. The high will move slowly east tomorrow as a weakening front and trough reach far southern NSW. The trough will move further north Tuesday then stall over the state Wednesday with unstable conditions expected on these days, mostly in the east. A more significant trough and frontal system look set to affect the state towards the end of next week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers in the far northeast, mostly clearing during the evening. Fine and mostly clear elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 12 NovemberPossible isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the far southeast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Very warm day in the far west. Northeast to northwesterly winds, freshening along the coast, turning southerly across the south later.Tuesday 13 NovemberThe chance of isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms, mostly in the east. Very warm day in the northwest. South to southeasterly winds, tending variable in the north.Wednesday 14 NovemberIsolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the east. Fine and very warm to hot in the west. Southeast to northeast winds near the coast, tending light and variable inland.Thursday 15 NovemberIsolated showers developing in the south, west and over central districts. Very warm to hot in the north with northwest to northeast winds. South to southwest developing over the remainder.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 am EDT Monday.Product IDN10031
