Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system will move across Victoria on Saturday, reaching the Tasman Sea by Sunday as the next cold front approaches. The cold front will cross Victoria on Monday before another high pressure system approaches from the west on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers over southern and mountain districts. Snow above 1600 metres over southern Alpine areas. Fine in the north. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, strong at times about the coast.Saturday 10 NovemberIsolated showers in the south, mainly about the coast, clearing during the morning. Fine and mainly sunny across the north. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Fire Danger -  Low to Moderate.Sunday 11 NovemberFine and mainly sunny throughout after early fogs in the south. Warm with light to moderate north to northeast winds and afternoon seabreezes about the Gippsland and central coasts.Monday 12 NovemberIsolated showers, mainly over southern and mountain areas, contracting to the southeast later. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northwest winds ahead of a milder southwest change in the southwest during the morning and extending throughout during the day.Tuesday 13 NovemberFine after isolated showers clear from East Gippsland. A mild and mainly sunny day with a light to moderate southerly wind.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Saturday.Product IDV10310
