Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of South Australia will move eastwards to be centred near Mount Gambier Saturday morning and over the Tasman Sea on Sunday. Another front will move across the west of the State on Sunday, then towards the northeast corner Monday afternoon. A second high will become established south of the Bight during Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayCloudy in the far northeast. Partly cloudy about coastal parts. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds.Saturday 10 NovemberFine apart from isolated early morning fog about the Lower South East and Upper South East districts. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and coastal sea breezes.Sunday 11 NovemberWarm to hot with moderate northerly winds, freshening in the west, ahead of a fresh and gusty southwest to southerly change expected over Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island late evening. Isolated late showers developing about western and south central coasts following the change.Monday 12 NovemberIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area with possible showers over the remaining agricultural area and West Coast district, contracting east and clearing by evening. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the northeast. Light to moderate northerly winds shifting moderate to fresh southerly during the day.Tuesday 13 NovemberFine. Partly cloudy in the south, mostly sunny in the north. Cool to mild with light to moderate southerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon until midnight Tuesday are expected to be up to 3 mm associated with the showers overnight Sunday and on Monday.Wednesday until FridayFine on Wednesday with winds turning northerly and temperatures rising. Possible isolated showers extending across the State late in the period with cooler southerly winds to follow.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
