Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 8/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak cold front is moving across Bass Strait. A high will move over the Bight today to be centred near Mount Gambier Saturday morning and over the Tasman Sea on Sunday. Another front will move across the west of the State on Sunday and to a line near Broken Hill to Oodnadatta late Monday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers and thunderstorms over the far northeast interior, clearing late morning. Possible isolated showers over the Kangaroo Island and the South East districts, more likely about the Lower South East coast, contracting south and clearing during the afternoon. Cool in the south, mild to warm elsewhere with moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds.Saturday 10 NovemberFine. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and coastal sea breezes.Sunday 11 NovemberFine apart from isolated late showers about western and south central coasts. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening in the west, ahead of a fresh and gusty southwest to southerly change reaching a line Port Lincoln to Tarcoola late evening.Monday 12 NovemberIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area with possible showers over the remaining agricultural area and West Coast district, contracting east and clearing by evening. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the northeast. Light to moderate northerly winds in the east, ahead of a moderate to fresh southerly change extending to a line Broken Hill to Oodnadatta late evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be up to 2 mm with isolated falls to 5 mm with thunderstorms.Tuesday until ThursdayFine on Tuesday and Wednesday with possible isolated showers developing in the west on Thursday. Becoming generally warmer with mainly moderate southeast to southwest winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Friday.Product IDS10033
