Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak cold front will move over the southeast of the State overnight Thursday, then a high will move over the Bight on Friday to be centred near Mount Gambier Saturday morning.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast clearing in the evening. Possible isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, more likely about southern coasts in the morning and evening. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 9 NovemberPossible isolated showers over the Central and South East districts, the west of the Mid-North and the southwest of the Murraylands, more likely about the Lower South East coast. Cool in the south, mild to warm elsewhere with moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds.Saturday 10 NovemberFine. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and coastal sea breezes.Sunday 11 November
Fine apart from isolated late showers about western and south central coasts. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening in the west, ahead of a fresh and gusty southwest to southerly change reaching a line Kingscote to Tarcoola late evening.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday morning until midnight Sunday are expected to be 1 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts. Up to 1 mm over the northern agricultural area. 5 to 10 mm northeast of a Moomba with local falls of 10 to 20 mm possible with thunderstorms.
Monday until WednesdayPossible isolated showers over the west coast and southern agricultural area on Monday with a milder southerly change. Fine Tuesday and Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
