Weather Situation A low pressure trough will remain over eastern districts during today and Thursday as a high pressure system approaches from the west. The high will move a little further eastwards on Friday before being located over Victoria on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayRain in the east with some heavy falls possible over the northeast. Isolated thunderstorms in the north contracting eastwards. Isolated showers elsewhere but becoming dry over the northwest. A cool to mild day, warmer in the northwest. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds.Fire Danger - Low to moderate.Thursday 8 NovemberRain areas in the far east easing to showers during the early morning. Isolated showers over remaining southern and mountain districts, dry over the north. A cool to mild day with light to moderate west to southwesterly winds.Friday 9 NovemberScattered showers over southern and mountain districts, isolated showers over the north. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.Saturday 10 NovemberIsolated showers in the south contracting to the coast then clearing from the west. Fine across the north.
